Trinity The Tuck’s “I Call Shade” song, featuring Peppermint, is very catchy and fun. A story about an outcast, played by Trinity, at Shady High, who seeks revenge at school bullies. There’s plenty of cameos from Drag Race alums, including Thorgy Thor, who plays the janitor part perfectly! He manage to squeezed in his Drag Race catchphrase, “Uhh, Jesus. Gross.” Blair St. Clair, Phi Phi O’Hara, and Yahua Hamasaki were perfect for the role of “mean girls” – no shade intended. Yahua’s electrocution bit is hilarious! Peppermint’s part is done perfectly, of course.
Also, I’d like to point out how much I appreciate the lighting of the sets in the entire video. Nothing is underexposed. It’s all well lit! “I Call Shade” video is written and directed by Tyler Stone.
