@RuPaulsDragRace Is Coming To #LasVegas; #DragRace #LGBT #LiveShow #TIX

RuPaul-LasVegasNew York, NY — RuPaul and Michelle Visage talked about touring on the 30th episode of their “What's The Tee?” On the “Retaining Your Brows” episode, Michelle was pitching to RuPaul about hopping on the bus and join the drag tour gig. RuPaul, who has had done touring early in his career, didn't like the idea of going on the road again, and preferred to do something like a residency like in Las Vegas. At that time he has discussed the idea with some people but they ultimately concluded that it still wasn't viable. But he was more interested in traveling somewhere close, like Las Vegas, to do a live show and return home to Los Angeles thereafter. Four years later, and here we are.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!, Directed by RuPaul and Jamal Sims, Hits the Stage at Flamingo Las Vegas,” states the ticketing site for the upcoming Drag Race live show in Las Vegas.

The show will feature Drag Race alums like Aquaria, winner of season ten, Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, a former Divas Las Vegas cast and Vegan, Eureka O'Hara, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, and Yvie Oddly, winner of season eleven.

There's no mention of the Pit Crew, which RuPaul and Michelle Visage talked on the podcast about including in a Vegas production.

After a scandal shutdown Frank Marino's Divas at the LINQ a few years ago, it created a void in the grand drag production in Sin City. Frank Marino dropped hints on his social media about the return of Divas, but nothing definite has yet been announced. This new Drag Race live show is the perfect show to fill that void. The new show can even cast alums from its international franchise. There's no shortage of great performers, from Drag Race Thailand’s Pangina Heals and Année Maywong to the talents in Chile's The Switch to the new Queens in the UK and soon Canada, Australia, Germany and, perhaps soon, the Philippines. It's going to be dragtasric! If RuPaul will perform too in full drag, that will no doubt drive the ticket sales up. It's definitely a great reason to visit Las Vegas again. It's a great alternative for fans to catch Queens who are often touring.

The brand new live show is also under World of Wonder through a newly formed company, WOW Vegas, Inc.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” is scheduled to run from January to August next year.

Ticket pre-sale starts Tuesday September 10 at rupaulsdragracelive.com
