Effective September 16, 2019, new Provincial legislation will allow transportation network services, commonly known as ride-hailing, to operate in British Columbia.
If you want to operate a ride-hailing vehicle in Vancouver, you need to ensure you comply with Provincial (http://bb7.ca/jbzo) and Municipal (http://bb7.ca/eko3) regulations.
Ride-hailing companies and drivers may submit applications (http://bb7.ca/sjad) to the BC Passenger Transportation Board (PTB) starting September 3, 2019.
